Steel prices remain flat in thin trade

New Delhi: Trading pattern remained unaltered at the local steel market in the national capital today as prices continued to move in a narrow range in the absence of buying support and pegged at the last levels.

Traders said absence of worthwhile activity from construction units due to adverse weather conditions, kept steel prices unchanged.

Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne):

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 50,000, 10-mm Rs 49,100, 12-mm Rs 47,300, 16-25 mm Rs 47,300.
