Sreenivas takes over as CVO of NMDC

NEW DELHI: V V S Sreenivas has taken charge as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of NMDC. He is an officer belonging to 1994 batch of Indian Railways Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME).

In addition to varied experience in the Railway sector, he had exposure to Port Logistics, Dredging and Project activities of the Oil and Gas Sector by virtue earlier deputations.

He is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Surat, with a Masters Degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He attended a Course on Environmental Management at University of Bradford and University of Manchester on the prestigious British Chevening Scholarship.

Prior to joining NMDC, Sreenivas was Chief Vigilance Officer of Dredging Corporation of India Ltd (DCIL) and Visakhapatanam Port Trust. He has an outstanding record all through.
