Shareholders laud NFL's performance at 44th AGM

New Delhi: The 44th Annual General Meeting of National Fertilizers Limited was held on Thursday (September 27), at New Delhi. The AGM was chaired by Manoj Mishra, C&MD, NFL. In his address, Mishra shared the financial and operating performance of the Company during the FY 2017-18 with shareholders.

During the year 2017-18, NFL delivered superlative performance. The company registered a record total income from operations (standalone) of Rs. 9025 crore with a Profit before Tax of Rs. 334.83 crore, which is also ever best in last 15 years. The company also earned Net profit (Profit after Tax) of Rs. 212.77 crore for the financial year. NFL has recorded ever highest Urea production of 38.10 Lakh MT and a record fertilizer sale of 43.09 Lakh MT comprising sale of 39.16 Lakh MT of Urea and 3.93 Lakh MT of other fertilizers.

The AGM was attended by a number of shareholders. During the AGM, the shareholders applauded the overall performance of NFL and the milestones achieved by NFL under the leadership of Mishra.
