NFL sales jumps 36% in Q2

Noida: National Fertilizers Limited witnessed a significant jump in total sales in second quarter of FY20 compared to the corresponding period last year (CPLY). The company sold 16.82 LMT of fertilizers in the quarter against 12.37 LMT sold during CPLY with an overall increase of 36 per cent.

The gross sales of the company stood at Rs. 3654.65 crore during the quarter with an increase of 13.36 per cent over the sale of Rs. 3223.66 crore in CPLY. The company sold 14.06 LMT of Urea during the period which was 10.45 LMT during CPLY with an increase of 34.54 per cent.

The imported fertilizers such as DAP/MoP/NPKs etc have kept on the momentum of growth with an increase of 42 per cent in sales during second quarter of 2019-20 compared to CPLY. The company sold 2.6 LMT of imported fertilizers in July – September. 2019 against the 1.83 LMT of the CPLY. The company has also reported a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 24.59 crore during the quarter ended September 30, 2019.
