IGL signs MoU with Petronet LNG for creating infrastructure

New Delhi: In a step towards achieving the government's vision of developing India into a gas based economy, Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), the largest CNG distribution company of India, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Petronet LNG Ltd. (PLL), one of the fastest growing energy company in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) chain, for setting up of LNG infrastructure in India & abroad apart from working out the possibilities of bidding jointly in upcoming GA's proposed by PNGRB.

E.S. Ranganathan, Managing Director, IGL and Prabhat Singh, Managing Director, PLL signed the MoU in the presence of directors and senior officials of both companies.

The MoU is aimed at synergising the efforts of two leading players in India's energy sector.
