IAS officer Raj Kumar takes charge as ESIC Director General

Raj Kumar, IAS took over the charge of Director General of Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) under Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India at its Headquarters on July 24 in New Delhi. Raj Kumar is an IAS Officer of 1987 batch of Gujarat cadre.
Earlier, he has worked as Joint Secretary to Government of India, Department of Economics Affairs, New Delhi since April 20, 2015.
He has got vast experience of governance and management of District & State level Organisations. He has also served as Principal Secretary to the Government of Gujarat in Food & Supplies Department and Agriculture & Cooperation Department.
