Exide launches sealed & maintenance-free battery

Kolkata: Exide Industries Ltd on Tuesday launched the "country's first" completely sealed and maintenance-free battery for the automotive after-market.
The new battery, 'Advanz', is currently the "only one of its kind in the Indian market" that does not require any topping up, the company said in a statement.
"Among other advanced features, this is also the country's only battery equipped with a magic eye that can accurately indicate the health of the battery and determine its end of life," the battery major said.
The company did not disclose details about the pricing of 'Advanz'.
Exide Industries said the product will be available for all types of cars in the Indian market, and comes with a 15-month warranty.
