Crude oil futures fall on domestic cues

New Delhi: Crude oil futures on Friday fell by Rs 14 to Rs 4,087 per barrel after participants reduced positions even as the oil prices gained overseas.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil prices for November delivery dropped by Rs 14, or 0.34 per cent, to Rs 4,087 per barrel with a business volume of 17,728 lots.

Similarly, crude oil for December delivery was quoting lower by Rs 13, or 0.32 per cent, at Rs 4,106 per barrel with an open interest of 863 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading 0.41 per cent up at USD 57 per barrel, while international benchmark Brent Crude traded higher by 0.35 per cent at USD 62.50 per barrel in New York.
