Deepak Kumar takes over as NHAI Chairman

Deepak Kumar has taken over as Chairman, National Highways Authority of India. He is an IAS Officer of the 1984 batch Bihar Cadre, who has held important positions in the Central Government and the Government of Bihar. Kumar is B. Tech. in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

He has vast experience in the field of Urban Development, Tourism, Health & Family Welfare, Education and General Administration. Prior to his current assignment, Kumar was Director General ESIC under Labour and Employment Ministry.
