EPCH gets best organiser award at imported comodities fair in China

YIWU is known as "China Small - Commodity Market". Yiwu market has become the world's largest small commodity market. The Yiwu Imported Commodities Fair conducted every year by CHINA Council for the Promotion of International Trade [CCPIT] is being increased in scale and grade with the visit of customers from almost all the regions of the world. Every year more than 1500 companies from 100 countries participate in this fair.

In view of the potentiality and importance of Yiwu market which attracts large buyers to import products, Council participated in 6th edition of Yiwu Imported Commodities fair being held from 6 – 9 May, 2017 at Yiwu International Expo Centre, Zhejiang, China by setting up India Pavilion and 30 member exporters of the Council displayed Fashion Jewellery & Accessories, decorative art metalware, textiles, wooden handicrafts, crochet lace & embroidery and brass artware alongwith four artisans showcased their skills in cane and bamboo, Gujarati shawls, Tarkashi and Madhubani painting informed Rakesh Kumar, Executive Director – EPCH.

Kumar further informed that out of 15 country pavilions, EPCH has been one of the recipients of trophy and certificate as Best Organiser for setting up India Pavilion by organizing Committee of China Yiwu Imported Commodities Fair.

Not only EPCH received award for setting up best pavilion at the fair, but also one of the participants from Jodhpur Kamod Tatiya of Mani Art got best product category award in decorative art metalware, Mohd. Adil Shamsi of Giftware from Moradabad in Aluminium Artware category and Vijaya Kumaran Pariyaran Veetil of Shriniwas Sugandhalaya LLP, Mumbai in Incense and aroma categories got the awards said ED – EPCH.
