Burdwan blast accused Abdul Wahab Momin, who was arrested yesterday from the city, was on Sunday remanded in ten days NIA custody. Chief Judge of City Sessions Court Md Mumtaz Khan remanded Momin to 10 days of NIA custody after he was produced in court. Counsel for NIA Shyamal Ghosh told the court that Momin was absconding from the date of blast and was helping members of the JMB terror groups of Bangladesh by giving them shelter in the state.
He alleged that Momin also had connection with another JMB operative who was now under arrest in connection with the same case.
