Brace yourself for Fever

For their upcoming movie Fever, director Rajeev Jhaveri along with actors Rajeev Khandelwal, Gauhar Khan, Caterino Murino were present at a press conference organised in Noida to promote their upcoming suspense thriller. Fever directed by Rajeev Jhaveri, all set to hit theatres on 5th August, is ‘a spine-tingling, steadily engrossing drama with all the tension and suspense of a classic thriller’ by film actors Rajeev Khandelwal, Gauahar Khan, Caterina Murino- ‘the bond girl’ in Casino Royale. 

Fever has something refreshing to offer to the audience in terms of pace and treatment. Rajeev epitomizing the skills and dedication of a professional assassin in the film, meets with a major accident and wakes up one fine morning from an accident that has wiped his mind clean into amnesiacal whiteness. Armin Salem played by Rajeev is a contract killer who is blessed with loads of money and beautiful women. He meets the mysterious Kaavya Chaudhary played by Gauahar Khan, who almost falls in love with him and goes out of her way to help him regain his identity. While coming to terms with Kaavya, Armin gets stalked by a Caucasian, Rhea Wagner, played by Caterina Murino. 

On being asked about doing similar kind of movies, Rajeev said, “Neither it is a coincidence nor I am inclined towards the same kind of cinema. It just happens that the script that I am offered ends up being in the same zone. Commercial movies offer one thing but nobody asks those actors that why do you bug only commercial films’.

Caterina shared her feelings and said, “I love Hindi films and Fever is my first Bollywood film and not being shot in India is a shame for me. It was a great experience and I will always have Bollywood with me in my heart.” 

Apart from an interesting story, the movie has dollops of sensuality, lilting music and temperature rising thrills.
