Bopanna, Mergea qualify for season-end finale

Rohan Bopanna and his Romanian partner Florin Mergea qualified for the year-end ATP World Tour Finale when Vasek Pospisil and Jack Sock lost the Paris Masters final, here on Sunday.

Pospisil and Sock, who were trying to grab the last available spot, lost 6-2 3-6 5-10 to second seeds 

Ivan Dodig and Marcelo Melo, who had knocked out Bopanna and Mergea in the quarterfinals.

Bopanna and Mergea were keeping their fingers crossed as a win for Psopisil and Sock who have ended their chances to make it to the prestigious finale, where only eight top teams in the world compete.

Bopanna and Mergea will now make their team debut at the season finale in London from November 15-22.
