Body found stuffed in trunk at Sultanpuri road

An unidentified body of a man was found stuffed in a trunk at a busy road in Outer Delhi’s Sultanpuri area on Sunday morning, police said.  According to the police, the victim, in his early forties, was allegedly strangulated and his hands and legs were tied. 

Residents of Balbir Nagar furniture market informed the police about the trunk at Kirari Road in Sultanpuri area. 

“We found a man’s body stuffed in the trunk. He had strangulation marks on his neck, and his limbs were tied with a rope. The man is likely to be in his early forties,” a police official said.

However, the police are yet to ascertain the man’s identity.

A case has been registered against unknown persons under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at the Sultanpuri police station.
