Boateng gets 3-match ban

Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng was on Thursday banned for three matches following his red card in Tuesday’s game against FC Schalke 04. Boateng committed a foul against Sidney Sam in the 17th minute of the 1-1 draw in the Bundesliga match played last Wednesday.
