BJP unfurls vision, AAP scoffs at posers

The move could be seen as BJP’s revised poll strategy to counter AAP’s growing popularity with every passing day. The decision came following a review meeting taken by party President Amit Shah earlier in the day, which was attended by several senior union ministers and top leaders of the Delhi unit . This document will be “released in a day or two” which will clearly spell out the party’s vision towards development and welfare of the people.”

In addition to this BJP has also decided to pose five questions to AAP daily to put it on the backfoot. On Thursday, Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy put forth the first set of questions: Why did Arvind Kejriwal take support of Congress despite having promised not to take support earlier? Why didn’t Arvind Kejriwal fulfill his promise of ordering probe against Sheila Dikshit? Why did he accept Z+ security when he was CM?

He took the metro for his oath-taking ceremony, then why use SUVs for work? Had said that travelling in private jet was against his principles, then why did he travel in a private jet?

AAP leader Yogendra Yadav said that they were posing frivolous questions whilst running away from a public debate and releasing a manifesto. “Let their CM candidate Kiran Bedi come forward for debate and pose 50 questions, we would answer her,” said Yadav. Speaking to media persons after the meeting, Union Minister for Chemical and Fertilizers Ananth Kumar said, “The vision document will be released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Kiran Bedi. This (vision document) will make people understand our concerns, achievements and developmental plans for the national capital.” “We have set a target to win the upcoming polls. Our party will field 120 MPs, including a number of Union ministers, to campaign for the Delhi polls in the next few days,” he added.
