BJP to corner govt over corruption

With government in dock over the corruption charges over its ministers, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) now plans to take up the issue with protests across the nation. This was decided by the BJP president Rajnath Singh at meeting of general secretary’s and vice- president’s of the party.

The final programme of protest will be decided soon. The government has been cornered over the corruption charges on law minister Ashwini Kumar and railway minister Pawan Kumar Bansal, as the opposition has been demanding their scalp. In fact the budget session was washed out because of the the charges on the law minister.

Apart from taking up the corruption issue, the BJP has also planned to appoint an incharge and a co- incharge for each parliamentary seat, in run up to the next general elections. The party has already initiated the process of formation of poll booth committees.
