BJP opposes hike in water bills

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Vijender Gupta has said the decision of Delhi Jal Board (DJB) to hike water tariff by 10 per cent in the coming year is an unnecessary burden on the people of Delhi. He demanded that the ‘anti-people’ decision should be withdrawn. ‘It may be mentioned that 40 per cent people do not have DJB connections in their houses. Such people spend 20 per cent of their total earning on water,’ he claimed.
