BJP is communal, never praised Modi as secular: Hazare

Anti-graft crusador Anna Hazare on Friday has denied describing Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi as secular. He said that he was misquoted by a section of media, which said he viewed Modi as secular. He said that Modi and his party Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) have stains of communalism on it. ‘I am no one to give certificate to anyone.
Journalists asked me in Indore whether I consider Narendra Modi communal or not and I immediately said I do not have any proof against him, so I can not say anything against him. But some newspapers wrote that I said Modi is not communal.. This does not mean that he is secular or non-secular.’
He said that Modi belongs to a party that sympathises with only one community and is against other communities and it is also known that it is totally against one particular community.
