BJP flays use of force against NIT Srinagar students

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday condemned the use of force by the J&K Police against NIT-Srinagar students and demanded action against the “guilty” personnel. “We condemn the use of force. Students were lathi-charged without any provocation. These students were not causing any damage... Immediate action should be taken against guilty policemen,” party National Secretary Shrikant Sharma said. A secure environment should be created for the students, he said.
