BJP does a Cong, to build think tank in Haryana

Emulating the Congress party, which has its think tank centres like the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Contemporary Studies in New Delhi, now the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) plans to establish its own think tank in Jhinjholi, Haryana. Leaders in know of the plans, said that land has already been bought, when Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nitin Gadkari was the president of the party.

The think tank will have capacity building where party workers  and elected representatives will be trained to cater to the needs of the voluntary sector. The think tank will have training programmes for student leaders, women activists and youth leaders among others.

Apart from training its leaders, the think tank will also have a separate cell for social research.  This  division will undertake socio-economic studies and surveys on professional basis. Also,on-the-spot-studies for the benefit of the activists, civil servants and elected representatives will also be conducted here.

According   to leader in know of the think tank,  seminars on contemporary issues will also be organised here. A similar institution  by the name Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini in Mumbai was built by  late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, to train the party workers.
