BJP demands CBI probe against Yadav Singh

The BJP on Monday demanded a CBI inquiry against former Noida Authority’s engineer-in-chief Yadav
Singh, against whom searches were conducted by the Income Tax department.
“The IT department and enforcement directorate should conduct an inquiry against Yadav Singh, but to expose his political patronisers, a CBI probe must be conducted,” BJP’s state president Laxmi Kant Bajpai told reporters.
The diary recovered from Yadav Singh has the number of all of his contacts, the BJP leader added.
A raid was conducted by the IT department at the residence of Singh on November 26, in which disproportionate assets worth Rs 10,000 crore were discovered.
Singh, against whom searches were conducted by the Income Tax department.
