BJP committed to construction of Ram temple: Amit Shah

BJP general secretary and in-charge of Uttar Pradesh Amit Shah reiterated that the party was committed to build Ram temple at Ayodhya.

On his maiden-visit to the temple city and after worshipping Lord Ram at the disputed area, Shah said along with giving ‘Susashan’ (good administration), the party’s top priority will be to construct a grand temple of Lord Ram here.

‘I have prayed before the God today to clear off all the hurdles for early construction of the temple,’ he told reporters after coming out of the makeshift temple at the disputed site. Shah remained inside the Ram temple along with UP BJP president Laxmikant Bajpai for about 15 minutes. He said that Lord Ram is always close to the heart of all the country people and there is no hitch that everyone is united for the construction of Ram Temple.

Shah, who reached here this morning, first went to have the darshan of Ram Lala.
