BJP boycotts House vs Azam’s attitude to UP Guv

BJP on Wednesday said it abstained from the opening session of Uttar Pradesh Assembly to protest against the “undignified” attitude of senior Samajwadi minister Mohd Azam Khan towards Governor Ram Naik. “We made it an issue and boycotted the Governor’s address and demanded sacking of Mohd Azam Khan from the cabinet,” BJP state chief Laxmi Kant Bajpai told reporters here. He alleged that it was not for the first time that the minister has acted in this manner. “In the past too, Khan behaved in such an undignified manner with previous Governors,” he alleged.
