Munger Lok Sabha MP's son killed in Noida car crash

Noida: The 24-year-old son of Veena Singh, Lok Sabha MP from Munger, Bihar, died in a road accident at the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway in UP on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday. Ashutosh was pursuing a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at a private university.

"The incident took place at around 4 am near the Jaypee cut on the E-way. Ashutosh was going from Pari Chowk in Greater Noida towards Delhi when his SUV rammed into the divider on the road, leading to severe injuries," said Gautam Buddh Nagar SSP Ajay Pal Sharma.

"He was immediately taken to Jaypee Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries," added Sharma.

The police said that the body was handed over to the family after the post-mortem. The victim was on his way to hospital to see his ailing mother.
