Maratha Kranti Morcha protesters fill up Mumbai's Azad Maidan fast

More than 10,000 police personnel, several drones and CCTV cameras are keeping watch over Mumbai today, as six lakh people have taken to the streets to participate in the Maratha Kranti Morcha.
The silent protest march began at 11am from Byculla and is slated to end around 5pm at Azad Maidan.
While schools in south Mumbai have been asked to remain shut, commuters are likely to face hassles as roads have been shut for traffic.
This is likely to be the last rally for the Maratha community, which has been demanding reservation in government jobs and education. It is their third attempt to hold a march in Mumbai after the first two failed following internal differences.
