Man shot, held after stabbings in Finland

Helsinki: Police in Finland shot a man who reportedly stabbed several people in the south-western city of Turku on Friday.
The incident took place in the Puutori-Market Square area and the man was taken into custody after being shot in the leg, BBC reported.
Finnish broadcaster YLE says several people were seen lying on the ground in the central part of the city.
The police warned people to stay away from the city centre. There was no immediate information on the number of casualties.
Police did not confirm the number of victims.
Tabloid Ilta-Sanomat says six people were injured, one man and five women, and that a woman with stroller was attacked by a man with a large knife.
Finnish police said they reinforced security at Helsinki airport and train stations following stabbings in the city of Turku.
