Coronavirus: Five fresh cases reported in Kerala, total number rises to 39

Coronavirusoutbreak LIVE Updates: China on Sunday reported around 44 new coronavirus cases, nearly all in Wuhan, recording the lowest number of infections erupting in a day since January. The death toll in the country also dropped to 27, the lowest in more than a month, mounting the total toll to 3,097, China's National Health Commission said.

In India, 34 people have tested positive for the novel coronavirus so far, prompting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to conduct a review meeting Saturday in order study the impact of the infection. COVID-19 has infected at least one lakh people in 90 countries and claimed the lives of over 3,400 so far.
