BJP ticket aspirants line up to meet Amit Shah

New Delhi: BJP chief Amit Shah on Wednesday personally received the credentials of Lok Sabha ticket aspirants at the party headquarters. Shah met more than 800 ticket seekers from across the country, where they submitted their details to him one by one.

He also met Gulab Chand Kataria, the Leader of the Opposition in Rajasthan and his deputy Rajendra Singh Rathore to discuss the possible names from the state

While the party leadership is stressing on only the 'winnability' factor of a probable candidate, many new faces will be fielded this time. BJP top brass has already set up teams of 18 members in each LS constituency. The team consists of district in-charges, frontal organisation members, state leaders and central in-charges.

The first set of CEC meetings are expected between March 16 to 18, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to decide the final list of candidates.
