Two LeT terrorists gunned down, woman dies after being caught in crossfire

Two Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorists, Bashir Lashkari and Azad Malik, were gunned down by security forces after they were trapped in a cordon in Brenti village in Anantnag district. Lashkari was involved in the killing of an SHO and five other policemen in Achabal area of south Kashmir on June 16. The terrorists were reported to be using civilians as human shields during the hours-long encounter that began in the morning.
Jammu and Kashmir Police said that a woman was killed after she was caught in the crossfire during the encounter in the village. Tahira, 44, sustained injuries in the operation and was rushed to the hospital but died on the way
