23-year-old woman techie shot dead in Noida high-rise apartment
A 23-year-old software engineer was shot dead at Shatabdi Rail Vihar society in Noida, Sector 62 on Wednesday morning.
Anjali Rathour, a graduate from Lovely Professional University, was working as a Graduate Engineer in Lava Company in Sector 63. Police suspect her boyfriend may be behind the murder.
Rathour was shot dead in the parking area of her society. She was rushed to Fortis Hospital where doctors declared her brought dead. A native of Yamuna Nagar in Haryana, Rathore had joined work in June 2016.

Police said the victim shared her third floor flat with six other girls. A person, suspected to be her boyfriend, called her on phone in the morning. She opened the door and came to the ground floor where she was shot dead.
The incident was captured on CCTV camera of the parking. One of her flat mates found her dead while leaving for tuition.

The room-mate alerted other friends and the victim was rushed to Fortis Hospital where doctors declared her brought dead. A police team accompanied by forensic experts reached at the spot for investigation.
Arun Kumar Singh, SP City Noida said that the police are investigating the case. "We have talked to the deceased's flat mates and relatives. Primary investigation suggests that the deceased's boyfriend could be behind it. We are investigating the matter and the accused will be arrested soon," Singh said.
