92-yr-old man found murdered in Badarpur

New Delhi: A 92-year-old man was killed by three persons in South East Delhi's Badarpur area on Tuesday. Police claimed that they had apprehended all the criminals including the domestic help from Ballabhgarh Railway Station while they were trying to flee to Madhya Pradesh by train. They claimed that they are juveniles which is being investigated. The investigating agency further claimed that the domestic help was working in the house of the family for past one month, but his police verification had not been done.

Chandrabhan, a nonagenarian, lived with his family in Molarband Extension. Around 8.30 am the incident came to light after a PCR call was made about the incident. One of the deceased's relatives Pulkit told Millennium Post that his grandfather was ill for the past few months and bed-ridden. "He lived on the ground floor whereas the family was living on the first floor. At the time of the incident, family members heard some noise coming out from the ground floor, and when Kapil ( the deceased's grandson) went to check what was happening he saw the accused trying to strangle his mother Saroj Garg, while his grandfather Chandrabhan lay dead on the bed," said Pulkit.
