Beyonce to star in A Star Is Born remake?

R&B star Beyonce Knowles has reportedly signed up to star in superstar Bradley Cooper’s remake of A Star Is Born.

The 34-year-old singer was originally approached about starring in the movie when Clint Eastwood was attached to direct in 2011 and has now agreed to take part in Cooper’s production, reported the New York Post. “Beyonce is a go. Bradley’s out to find the rest of the cast, but he may take another acting role [in the meantime]. He’s furiously making everything he can.” Beyonce last appeared on the big screen in 2009’s “Obsessed” but it was recently claimed that she has been taking acting lessons.

The singer, who also starred in the movie Dreamgirls, is apparently serious about making it as an actor.
