Beware of sycophants: Mulayam tells Akhilesh

‘You are surrounded by sycophants political leaders and officials, who are behind the bad image of the party. You should immediately get rid of these people. I know them very well what they are doing,’ he told the CM after laying of the foundation and inauguration of projects worth over Rs 3926 crores of power and agriculture department here at the CM residence.
However, during his speech the SP leader remembered former SP leader Amar Singh without taking his name.’ A leader who is not in the party knew everything about me and what I want. He was the person who brought G V K Reddy, whose Srinagar hydro power project was inaugurated on Tuesday,’ he said. He warned the state ministers and party legislators that they will cease to be a minister and party would not give them ticket if the party loses the LS elections.’’ The party is bigger than the government and no government can survive if the party goes weak,’’ he said.
The SP president was too harsh on the CM and even went on the extent of saying: ‘You should be more careful about the sycophants and about your act to be happy with the officials saying -- yes sir.’
Though the CM kept smiling on the scolding of his father and only state urban development minister Mohammad Azam Khan replied that they are working on the directives of the SP president.
Yadav also asked the UP CM to provide water, road and power to the people, which is the basic need of every individual.
During the function,state agriculture minister Anand Singh, made political statement condemning the Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi for the comparing his state with UP.
