B’desh can beat any team: Tamim

Bangladesh batsman Tamim Iqbal has said beating the mighty South African cricket team to a series-win was a massive achievement for his team.
The aggressive opener believes they are capable of beating any major team in international cricket, reports bdnews24.com citing Tamim as having said on Saturday.
Chasing 170, Bangladesh created history with a resounding nine-wicket win here on Wednesday to clinch their first-ever One-Day International (ODI) series against the game’s big boys 2-1.
Earlier, after easily losing the first ODI by eight wickets, the hosts fought back convincingly in the second ODI to level the series.
This comes after they had whitewashed Pakistan 3-0 and won against India 2-1 in the 50-over format.
“Beating South Africa ... this is a huge moment for Bangladesh cricket. Our bowlers have bowled brilliantly. Soumya’s batting was extraordinary. The team deserved a good innings from me,” said Tamim.
