BCCI seeks Lodha panel’s directives on media rights

There are primarily three specific points on which the parent body of cricket in India sought directions from the Lodha panel.

Firstly, they asked for directions over the decision regarding the appointment of an independent auditor to oversee the tender and other processes. Second is if there should be any specific directions/instructions on whether BCCI should defer or cancel the opening of global tender on October 25.

The board also wanted a directive on whether they could issue clarifications to the potential bidders if they have any questions in their mind.

Around 18 companies, including social networking giants like Facebook and Twitter, have bought the tender documents. BCCI had appointed M/S Deloitte to supervise the submission and the opening and assessment of the bids.
