Batch of 200 Indians return home

Another batch of 200 Indian nationals arrived here on Tuesday from conflict-hit Iraq, taking the number of those who have returned so far to over 2,500. ‘One more flight! Iraqi Airways special flight from Najaf brought back 200 Indians nationals to Delhi earlier today,’ the Spokesperson in the External Affairs Ministry tweeted. With the arrival of the fresh batch, the total number of Indians who have returned from the war-torn country crosses 2,500. With MEA facilitating the departures, it is estimated that there are about 7000 Indians in the non-conflict zones left.
