Barcelona pitted against Arsenal, Juventus draw Bayern in Champions League

Holders FC Barcelona were paired with Arsenal in round of 16 draw while Chelsea were drawn against Paris Saint-Germain in the knockout stage of the Champions League for the third season running here on Monday.

German champions Bayern Munich were pitted against last season’s runners-up Italy’s Juventus, during the draw conducted by European football’s governing body UEFA.

Anoter Italian side AS Roma has a tough match-up against record 10-time champions Real Madrid.

Manchester City will meet Dynamo Kyiv. The Ukrainian club will play their home tie without a crowd as punishment for the racist behaviour of some fans during a game in the group stage.

Portugal’s Benfica and Russia’s Zenit Saint Petersburg, were paired together while the Belgian side Gent will meet German outfit VFL Wolfsburg.

The first legs of the round of 16 matches will be played on February 16-17 and 23-24, followed by the return leg on March 8-9 and 15-16. The final of the tournament will be played at the San Siro stadium in Milan on May 28.
