Bank manager stabbed to death by kin

A 50-year old senior bank manager was stabbed to death by his brother-in-law on Wednesday morning in New Ashok Nagar area of east Delhi.
The deceased, identified as Vinod Kumar Das, worked in Corporation Bank, Janakpuri. He was a resident of Trilokpuri area of east Delhi. According to the police, on Wednesday morning, when Das was returing home after a morning walk, his brother-in-law, Bharat Bhushan, approched him. They had a heated argument and Bhushan ended up stabbing him several times in his stomach. Bhushan then fled away, leaving a wounded das Behind.
Bhushan is a resident of Noida and is a notorious criminal. ‘In the morning, near Dharamshila hospital, Bhushan attacked Das brutally. A passerby made a PCR call and he was immediately rushed to hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. Soon after the post-mortem, the body was handed over to the family of the deceased,’ the official added.
During the investigation, police came to know that the families had some differences. One of the family members told police that scuffles between Bhushan and Das took place quite often. Apparently, Bhushan’s wife stayed with Das.
A case of murder has been lodged against Bhushan at New Ashok Nagar police station and hunt is on to nab him.
