Police have arrested a Bangladeshi man who had obtained a voter identity card and a driving license in India, and was travelling frequently between the two countries.
Police from Indirapuram were conducting a verification drive ahead of Republic Day and detained a man for his suspicious behaviour. During interrogation he said his name was Abdul Barikh and that he was a resident of Khulna district of Bangladesh, a police official said on Saturday. He said he frequently travelled between the two countries.
