Baisakhi celebrations at Dilli Haat

Baisakhi, the harvest festival of Punjab which marks the beginning of a new year, is celebrated with much ardour. To bring the essence of the festival to the Capital, a three-day event titled ‘Punjabiyan di Shaan Baisakhi’ was held at Dilli Haat Pitampura from April 8-10.

The festival will offer a variety of activities for all age groups. Fashion show by married women, a cultural evening by Punjabi artists, Mr and  Mrs Rajdhani are some of the activities which are the major attractions of the event. The event shall also offer rare shopping experience offering a variety of products to choose from, especially for women including fashion products, cosmetics, traditional sharbats, home décor etc. Visitors can also gorge on some exquisite traditional Punjabi cuisine including Makki ki Roti and Sarson ka Saag. Children can look forward to lots of interesting games, camel rides, puppet shows etc., which will surely provide an amazing experience. A Selfie Corner has been set up for the visitors to help them capture and take back the happy memories and moments spent with family and friends.
