Bahuguna inspected clearing work in Kedarnath

Uttarakhand CM Vijay Bahuguna paid visit to Kedarnath and offered prayer to Lord Shiva on the auspicious days of Guru (Vyas) Purnima and first Somvar (Monday) of Shravan month.

He said, ‘The Kedarnath shrine is the major attraction of religious feelings and spiritual emotions of all people all over the country. The government will try his best to maintain the glory, honour and prestige of the sanctum sanctum. He assured that very soon the temple will come up in its natural form and devotees will start performing prayers and religious ceremonies.’

The CM inspected and supervised the ongoing clearing work in and around the holy premises. He also extended his helping hand in the clearing operations. He told that workers are working in extreme conditions, as normalcy has not returned even after one month.  A special chopper from Guptkashi is carrying food, potable water and other essential items for the workers engaged in clearing operations.
