Bad law and order gives bad name to Govt: Akhilesh

Stressing for improvement in law and order Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav on Friday said no state can progress without improvement in law and order because a crime gives a bad name to the government and the state. ‘Law and order was important for the development of any state. Good law and order means people will invest in that state, and this generate employment and resources,’ Yadav said while addressing senior administrative officers during IAS week. He appealed the officers to take stern action on corruption-related complaints and complete developmental projects on time. ‘Carry out field-inspection and meet people to know about their problems. ‘ he said.
