B-Town wishes ‘crazy Dishoom year’ to Varun on B’day
As Varun Dhawan turned a year older on Sunday, celebrities like Anil Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Huma Qureshi and Karan Johar opted for the virtual way to wish the Bollywood’s “talented hit machine” a happy birthday.
The son of filmmaker David Dhawan, Varun entered Bollywood with the multi-starrer Student of the Year in 2012 along with Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra.
The actor then went on to experiment with his craft by doing films like Main Tera Hero, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badlapur, ABCD 2 and Dilwale. Varun has a lot to look forward to, with films like Dishoom, Shuddhi and Judwaa 2 lined up.
Before entering the silver screen, Varun worked behind the camera as an assistant director of My Name Is Khan.
The stars tweeted as Varun turned 29. Humbled by all the wishes, Varun took to Twitter to thank all his friends and well-wishers, saying that he is trying to “read everything”.
He posted: “Thank you everyone for all the wishes, love and gifts just still trying to read everything so will take a little time.
“But all your wishes and love from everywhere means the world to me. Thank you. Feel so blessed to have you guys as my fans”.
