Awards make SRK feel like ‘kid in candy store’

Even after two decades in the industry and with several awards in his showcase, trophies still get megastar Shah Rukh Khan excited. On Sunday, he picked up two more at the Big Star Entertainment Awards — Entertainer of the year and Best Romantic onscreen couple for Jab Taak Hai Jaan (JTHJ).
The superstar says JTHJ will always remain special to him since it turned out to be the last time he worked with Yash Chopra. ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan will always be a special film for me. I will always be thankful to Yashji. I get really excited with awards. No matter how many I have got, they have the same affect on me, like they did when I was new in the industry. I almost become like a kid in the candy store,’ said Shah Rukh.
Shah Rukh and Katrina got the award for JTHJ. ‘This was the first time I worked with her and see what happened! Katrina is a very hardworking girl and it was a pleasure working with her. And as far as romance is concerned, I am the best one here,’ he said. SRK flew to Mumbai for the awards and left immediately to shoot for Rohit Shetty’s film Chennai Express.
