Attacks on TMC workers going unabated

Attacks on Trinamool Congress (TMC) supporters go unabated in different areas in the state.
In Jadavpur, CPI(M) workers attacked the houses of Trinamool Congress workers at Sahid Smriti colony on Sunday morning. Ten people have been arrested in this connection. 

According to local people, some CPI(M) cadres attacked the house of TMC supporters on Sunday morning. TMC supporters retaliated and a clash ensued. A large contingent of police went to the spot and brought the situation under control. CPI(M) MLA Sujan Chakraborty also visited the spot. The leaders of both the parties made allegation and counter allegation over attacks.

Satarup Ghosh, CPI(M) candidate from Kasba alleged that some miscreants had pelted stones at his house breaking window panes.

The party offices of the Trinamool Congress in Haldia in east Midnapore and Bishnupur in Bankura were ransacked by CPI(M) workers. On Saturday night armed CPI(M) cadres raided the party offices and ransacked them. The almirahs were broken and the pictures of Mamata Banerjee were smashed. 

In Bishnupur, CPI(M) workers attacked TMC supporters at Belsuria village. Some TMC workers were conversing among themselves when armed CPI(M) attacked them with sticks and shovels. They ran into the party office for safety and locked the door from inside.  The cadres broke open the door and beat them up. The rooms were ransacked.  

The injured TMC workers were taken to Bishnupur Sub-divisional Hospital. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee alleged that the CPI(M) had unleashed a reign of terror after losing election. The cadres set three motor cycles that were parked outside the party office on fire.

Similarly in Haldia, TMC party office was ransacked. The CPI(M) cadres attacked TMC office at Priyambada. A complaint was lodged at Durgachowk police station.

Congress-TMC clash also took place at Manickchowk in Malda. The Congress cadres started teasing TMC supporters after their candidate lost in the polls. 

The wordy duel soon turned into clashes. Both the parties have lodged complained with police. 
TMC alleged that Congress workers had threatened a party worker with dire consequence. 

In Dinhata, seven TMC workers were injured after they were beaten by Congress workers this morning.  Local TMC leader alleged that miscreants backed by the Congress raided the house of a panchayat leader where a party meeting was going on. They beat up people who were present on the spot.
