Assistant V-P of Reliance Retail, Eastern zone dead

A 57-year-old person jumped to his death from a high-rise building at New Town.

Some local residents saw the victim lying in a pool of blood early on Wednesday.

Police said, Partha Sinha, the assistant vice-president of Reliance Retail, Eastern Zone committed 

suicide at a posh apartment in New Town – Horizon 2, Unitech Uni World City.

“Sinha’s body was recovered from the backyard of his building. We have started an investigation to reveal the reason of his death. It is looking like a suicide,” said an investigating officer.

“He jumped from the balcony of his 10th floor flat,” the officer added.
