Ashok Parnami elected Raj BJP chief for 2nd time

BJP leader Ashok Parnami was relected as the party's Rajasthan chief for the second consecutive term in the organisational election completed here on Tuesday.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Home Minister G C Kataria and Education Minister K C Saraf had proposed and filed the nomination papers of Parnami, who was the only candidate to file nomination for the post on Monday.

Central observer of the party, Dinesh Kumar Sharma, made the announcement today along with declaring the results of the election to the posts of 25 state and central party functionaries.
