Arjun Kapoor starrer Tevar to release on 5 December

Sanjay Kapoor Entertainment and Eros International's Tevar starring Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha is scheduled to release on 5 December 2014.

The film that went on floors earlier this year, will see its last schedule in Mumbai flag off on the 5 May and wrap up by the end of June in Benaras.

Tevar the remake of Telugu action film Okkadu will mark the directorial debut of Amit Sharma.
Says producer Sanjay Kapoor, 'We are very excited to announce that Tevar will release 5th December this year. Things are going on schedule and we are very happy with the progress on the film.'

Arjun, who is working with his dad Boney Kapoor for the first time in Tevar, holds him in high regard for his vision and creativity.

The young actor feels his father’s decision to make sci-fi film Mr. India way back in 1987 proved that he’s much ahead of his times.

He said: ‘As far as working with dad is concerned, it has been strangely normal. It’s not been overbearing. I have done five films before going with Tevar and they are confident about my work. They have not been bogging me down.

‘It’s a typical masala entertainer. He is known for larger than life entertaining cinema. I am happy he doesn’t have to feel I am his weakness,’ said the actor who is riding high with his last flick 2 States.
