Another gang war waiting to erupt in Ggn?

It has been almost a week after two accused were arrested in the Gurgaon gang-war case. And what is <g data-gr-id="46">more</g> shocking is the fact that police sources reveal the possibility of another gang war between two members of the <g data-gr-id="25">Gadoli</g> gang — Manish and Gujjar.

According to information received, gang leader Sandeep <g data-gr-id="36">Gadoli</g> has been plotting against Binder Gujjar for over a month. The reason — the former wanted to eliminate the gangster turned councillor (Gujjar) of ward number 21 and take “power over illegal liquor and extortion business” in Gurgaon.

The possibility of another gang war in the coming days may be attributed to the fact that one of <g data-gr-id="38">Gadoli’s</g> brothers and an important member of his gang have recently come out of jail on bail, sources said.

It has also come to light that since an FIR was registered for the murder and attempt to murder against Binder Gujjar and <g data-gr-id="39">Gadoli’s</g> gang members, both have been underground since then.

“We have information that both the members are planning to settle scores, so there is a huge possibility of a bloody gang war in the upcoming days”, said a senior investigating officer. “Even though we have arrested only two suspects behind the gang war, the CCTV footage procured from the surrounding areas has given us strong leads and we are hopeful of arresting <g data-gr-id="40">Gadoli</g> soon,” said Anil Kumar, ACP (City).

Apart from the video footage, a diary has also been recovered by the Gurgaon Police in a recent raid conducted, post the August 4 gang war. The information mentioned in the diary reveals a major corruption scandal.

The diary has names of a number of officials along with the money allegedly paid to them as bribes. The amount varies from lakhs for some officials and crores for some other senior officials.

However, the police are still trying to trace the officials, as in some cases the designations are mentioned in place of their names.

The fight turned ugly over fears that one of the gang members would have all the power and aid and this would help one of the two to win the upcoming 2016 elections.

With this presumption, Manish Khurana, a close associate of <g data-gr-id="24">Gadoli</g>, had filed a complaint against Gujjar under the charged of <g data-gr-id="28">attempt</g> to murder last Sunday.

In 2011, Gujjar and Khurana stood against each other as Independent candidates in the elections and the latter became the councillor and Khurana stood third.

<g data-gr-id="27">Information</g> reveals that the incident in which councillor’s driver Ashok was shot dead was originally planned for Gujjar. He was the main target for <g data-gr-id="37">Gadoli’s</g> shooters who mistook his driver for him.
